New species, new challenges – Interview on European Radio

In connection with the recently published New Species, New Challenges science-based popular booklet, an interview was conducted with Melinda Halassy on European Radio, which briefly summarizes the topics covered in the publication, from the invasion process to what we can do about it. Managing invasions is a complex social learning process: it cannot be successful without the cooperation of natural and social scientists, decision-makers, farmers, and citizens. That is why the aim of the publication is to initiate dialogue and contribute to coordinated, cross-sectoral action against invasive species.
